Tryout dates for competitive teams below. We will be doing 3 competitions, competing in hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary/lyrical. Performing ballet and tap at recitals.

Please wear all black dance clothing for tryouts. With half soles or jazz shoes.

 

Tryout fee is $20 for each dancer. This needs to be paid in order to audition. Please Venmo with your daughter’s name and age. Mark it private instead of public, please.

Makeup tryouts on May 22nd 4-6pm

Each group will be 1 hour long

 

4-4:40pm 11+ ages.

This group requires dance experience and flexibility.

 

4:40-5:20pm 5-8 years old.

 

5:20-6pm 9+ years.

Videos of each routine will be posted on May 13th. Please view and practice the routines at home. Instructors will run the routines with each group for half an hour. The remainder of the hour will be for tryouts.

 

Another option if these dates do not work, is to send a video of your dancer, doing the appropriate routine for their age. Please email to raehousedance@gmail.com These videos need to be sent in by May 22nd.

Dance team placements will be based on abilities, not necessarily age.
